Site-Specific Activities   

Site-specific Studies - Site-specific studies, including environmental analyses and engineering designs, have been initiated for three of the Phase I actions identified in the Settlement. These studies will support the release of Interim Flows and other river modifications necessary to implement the Settlement. The studies will be conducted in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

The following studies are under way:

• Mendota Pool Bypass and Reach 2B Channel Improvements
• Reach 4B, Eastside Bypass, and Mariposa Bypass Low Flow Channel Improvements Project
• Arroyo Canal Fish Screen and Sack Dam Fish Passage Project

 Three additional site-specific studies are anticipated to be initiated at a later date:

• Sand Slough Control Structure
• Modify Bypass Structures for Fish Passage
• Salt & Mud Slough Barriers
